Default Axe vs. Sword vs. Hammer

Hey, I have been wondering this since the WPE: What are the differences between Axes, Swords, and Hammers? I know that certain warriors skills require a specific one, but im talking in general. What are the inherant pros and cons (if there are any)?

P.S. I'm in the process of getting a new avatar, so for now, the clone tropper will have to do

There's a article here on the site about it.

Sword: its a weapon that's as common as muck (talking about the amount of people who use them) . It has the lowest damage output out of the lot, but it also has the tightest damage range, in other words you lose out on damage potential in what you gain in reliability. Has a nice mix of adren and energy based skills, and Hamstring is energy based, so it also has a useful crippling move on demand.

Axe: has the largest difference in damage range (the opposite to swords then). You may swing bad, you may swing great, but you'll always devastate on a critical hit. Most adren reliant, and is the best utility line for a Warrior (possesses Disrupting Chop, use it too scare the crap out of casters).

Hammer: Highest damage range, but the slowest out of the lot (axes and swords swing at the same speeds). This is the line to go for if you want to be a disruption specialist. Lots of ways to knock people down, people are smart not to face off against a hammer user high on adren.

So what he is really getting at...its all in personal opinion. What you enjoy most, and since I'm a daredevil I would go with axe

Just to note, the sword has the best designs so far.

Try the presets for an idea of what damage output to expect from pure attacks.

Next, Axes and Swords are 1-handed and let you use a Shield or Focus.

Then we have skills...

Hammers are for knockdown. I wouldn't want to use them for pure damage output.

Axes and Swords are good for damage. Hit fast, charge up on adrenaline and dish out attack skills. Axes have conditional adrenal crippling, Sword energy crippling. The latter is more reliable but the first is preferable with an energy-heavy build.

Hammers would be decent if the knockdown automatically let you hit them based on their helmet AL, since their frigging knocked down. That would give it the much needed buff it needs without needing to give it more duration.
